Dear Carl,

You were just even more amazing this day. You showed up at my house early in the morning to help my Dad load the billions of decorations into the truck, and even brought them out with him at the Community Center Ball room. Then you helped my GBS boys set-up all the decorations at the hall. After that long set-up, you went home to get ready quick in that short amount of time you had left- on an empty stomach from being so busy. Then from the very start of my shindigg, you fulfilled the role of being my escort. You even changed again for me into green when I had to for the ceremonial parts! At the end of the fun-filled party, you helped my familia clean it up too. Hence, you helped take things down and re-load into the truck- all over again. 

You made a BIG impression on my family. My Mom made “future Carl & Jen” jokes with you, my Dad told his side of the family that he liked you and that you were a “Great Kid”, My Aunts and Uncles included you in the comment that you were one of the very helpful boyfriends, and most of all, you connected with my cousins. They can be tough on people, but you took their 2nd sit-down very well. On the usual they usually let new-boo’s figure out how to make a better impression with the family, but they gave it to you straight how to help you with them. I think the two people that hit me the most were my Ates.

Ate Jerms said “You know who you should thank for helping out A LOT today?… Carl. You should give him a kiss on the check, right now”.

Ate Meng said right in front of you to me “I like him for you Jen. I approve”.

I love that you came out of your shell and showed them your silly-side, I love that you tolerated my Uncle giving you purple-nurples (LOL),  I love that our parents finally met each other at my shindigg, and I love that you stayed up with me from the time we got home from the party (12AM-7:16AM) because you were allowed to spend the night at mi casa.

His Mommy had her debut on her 50th birthday because she didn’t have one when she was young. Celebrated it on New Yrs Eve. She invited me, but I couldn’t make it, so I bought her 2 dozen roses online that were delivered to her house :). (Taken with instagram)

I’ve been sick since last Friday.. I’ve had a fever, runny nose, pink eye, sore throat, and chapped lips for the past few days. Then this morning, babe randomly texts me “come out.” I was confused, but then she calls me and tells me she brought me soup! But not just any soup, PHO!!!! I was hella happy kuz not only did she bring me soup, BUT I got to see/hug babe after hella days of not seeing her. I’m happy because my mom approved of what she did and my mom instantly bought some right after she saw me eating it. lmao! Also, my mom said, “Wow, she really loves you” and “Where else are you going to find a girl like that? No where!” Which made the both of us happy. THANKS BABE! I love you

XII.XI.X - 365 Days Anniversary<3

We spent the pre-celebration at Winterball, the event where we both made it offical last year. Then on 12/11/12, we spent our one year officially. This man right here asked my parents for permission to take me out, and they said yes. It meant the world to me that he asked my parents for their consent; he is the First guy to ever properly take me out.

I was so excited because we both never went ice-skating before, so it was both a First-Time experience for the both of us! It took us a minute to get the hang of it, but he held my hand throughout the entire time. 20 minutes into it, he needed a “break”, so he pulled me out to the side to “rest”. As soon as we got to the side-railing, he pulled a promise ring out of his pocket and told me “Happy One Year Babe, I love you”. Man, was I tearing up once he hugged me tightly.

A little later, we went to Mel’s to eat. Once we ordered, that’s when I made MY move. I told him how much I loved him, and pulled out his ring from me from the inside of my sleeve. That’s when I promised him “I’ll love you, and only you, no matter what” then we sealed the deal with a kiss. 

After, we both split a delicious Teriyaki Mushroom Burger, Big Bopper Burger, fries, and our favorite Chocolate Shake. DID YOU KNOW HE NEVER DIPPED FRIES IN A SHAKE BEFORE? There goes another First-time experience. Ha.

When we paid for our dinner, we both used our change to buy a Domo for the each of us. He got the mustache one, and I got the thug-life one. Then we spent the rest of the time walking the Streets of Brentwood. 

The last gifts he gave me was a Victoria Secret Love Spell Set, and I shared with him my personal journal with all the secret heart-felt thoughts and lovey-dovey feelings that I wrote about him (from when we were just friends) along with a special letter.

The night was the best anniversary and most romantic time I’ve ever had in my life so far, and I loved every second of it. Thank you for everything Babe. I love you<333
